Erie Co. -- Imm Female Selasphorus in Harborcreek NOT BANDED FO 10/31/18 ↔ LO 12/2/18 The Western PA RBA for Dec 4th on PABirds listed the probable Rufous in Harborcreek reported by Jerry McWilliams on Nov 21st. I did have previous info on this bird from Mark Bass and Bob Mulvihill on Fb on Nov 12 as well. So I pursued further info and made contact with the humhostess Sharon Brandt. Further info on what from photos is obviously a HY female Selasphorus (probable Rufous) was provided in email from Sharon - including the FO & LO dates of Oct 31st to Dec 2nd. There is obviously rufous on the rectrices and back in the Nov 7th photo, but 3 later photos show only a small central gorget spot without extensive stippling. The Selasphorus was last seen at 4:30 PM on 12/2, a warm 50°F day.
